In the End He is in Control

Life is all about balance and I feel like I haven't been doing that lately. I tend to put God at the end of my to-do-list for the day and run out of time constantly. I return to my room everyday exhausted and I feel completely drained. The worst feeling though is when I lose track of my priorities and let things in my life slip. In December of last year I was in this predicament where if I didn't do well in my classes I might not have been able to do some of the activities I am involved in this school year. That scared me because I like what I do and I felt like I would disappoint a lot of people.

But in the end God controls everything in our lives.  It is actually a relief to know that someone else controls your life. Yes I have the responsibility of choice but I didn't write the game plan to my life. I ended up making the grades to keep my job and believe me I praise God everyday for what he did for me. But you shouldn't just praise God for what he has done you should worship him for who he is. Because it is an amazing God that loves us enough to keep us on his agenda we we might forget to put him on ours.

Psalm 55:22  Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.
Matthew 11:28-29 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
